Please find attached the drafts to be reviewed on Thursday afternoon,
of this week's CORBAmed session.
These drafts are to start the process to introduce RAD for
consideration by the US Department of Health and Human Services for
consideration under the HIPAA legislative mandates.  BTW, like anything
with the government, there is a lot of process :-)

On the recommendation of Bill Braithwaite (DHHS and Mr. HIPAA),  I had
a conference call with the leaders of the WEDI organization (step one on
the process).  They requested two short documents.  One asking to form a
group to address new technologies for HIPAA consideration, thus starting
the WEDI process.  Two a request to consider the CORBAmed RAD
specification as the first standard to "grease the skids" for this new
process.  

The WEDI leadership is extremely receptive of this endeavor.

More in the discussion on Thursday.  Please forward any modifications
or suggestions and I will attempt to incorporate your edits into the
draft documents before Thursday's session.
