First a correction to the attendee list in the minutes... I was there :-)
although a bit late because the AB meeting ran long.

Jim: I am a bit unsettled by your choice of words.  I don't think that the
minutes or the discussion at the meeting is indicative of this at all.  In
any submitter team there are going to be a number of ideas about the
appropriate way to solve a problem and professional debate and respectful
disagreement are expected.  Such issues must be resolved for a joint
submission team to proceed.  We agree that the needs of the healthcare
industry must be addressed and the submitters who disagreed with this
particular approach to expressing rules is committed to accomodating those
needs with a specification that will be accepted (and implemented) by
vendors and useful to users.  We all have great respect for Konstantin, his
ideas and contributions, which is why I must take exception to your
comment.  The next round of IDL is  restructured significantly as a result
of direction and comments (including valid criticisms) that I received from
team members including Konstantin.  I would be happy to consider any
detailed critique you'd like to offer on the submission as well.
