[COAS-List] Evaluation Committee

Submitters-

The notion of a COAS Evaluation Committee came up at the DC session.  I
have informally secured a number of folks to serve in the capacity of
reading and providing evaluation comments back to the COAS submitters. 


Past experience has shown that Evaluation Committees serve two
purposes.  First, it provides the submitters with unbias feedback on
potential technology adoption.  This feedback serves to make the
specification as robust as possible.  Second, Evaluation Committees
serve to build industry concensus.

When will a copy of the COAS submission be available to forward to an
Evaluation Committee?  The Evaluators have the understanding that this
is a draft, not the final specification.

Here is a proposed timeline, feedback is welcome:

Feb 15th, email invite and copy of draft COAS specification to the
Evaluation Committee members.
Feb 22nd (sometime that week)  informal meeting at HIMSS to discuss
feedback.  Would the COAS submitters be available to present the
specification?  Does anyone have a room to accomodate this session?
March 1-15 Gather and collate feedback from Evaluation Committee.
March 22nd, Philadephia meeting of CORBAmed and vote on COAS technology
adoption.  Presentation by Evaluation Committee on the COAS
specification.
