Dave,

I was on vacation last week so I just read your message. I have not had
the problem you mention but we are using OrbixWeb 3.x. I know other
people have used Orbix on the TerminologyServices.idl.

The problem I have seen is that all of TerminologyServices.idl gets
generated (and it is really big) even though the COAS IDL only needs a
couple type definitions in it. I imagine Visibroker may be having a
problem with the size of the file or something like that. The cure is
to remove the bulk (~99%) of the content in the TerminologyServices.idl
file.

One other problem I ran into when running TerminologyServices.idl
through an older cpp was that some comment lines started with '//*
...'. The cpp got confused and thought there was a block comment
instead of a single line comment.

Cheers,

Tim
