Greetings,

As of this morning 11/04/1999 Florida International University is now 
a working connector of the Abilene High Performance Network.

Internet traffic between other HPC participants and FIU is now flowing
through a high speed (155Mbps) fiber optic link. 

This is the fruition of over a years work! Congratulations and thanks
to all who have contributed and worked on this project. 

Let the research begin!
