I'm not sure about the firmness of the CD deadline, but so far there is
nothing on the ftp site at UMich.  We will be providing our current
PIDS client (with source) and runtimes of our PIDS server (all in
Java). I think CareData will be providing its PIDS client (in what
language, I'm not sure). I think Inprise has offered Visibroker for Java
(evaluation version, I presume) and I would hope that Orbix will do the
same with OrbixWeb.  We have not delivered our PIDS software yet because
we want it to install correctly with InstallAnywhere and that is still
being tested.  We should also put a JRE on the CD, too.  This all needs
to be tested before we burn the CD. I have not heard of any other offers
of software for the CD.

I think all of this software should be on a web site, too.
