Something you might be interested in attending.  CORBAmed is working on a
Healthcare Resource Access Control RFP, through the OMG standardization
process.  The initial submission on this proposal will be presented at the
next CORBAmed meeting, 9-13 November, 1998 in Burlingame, CA.  The HRAC
presentation is tenatively scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, November 10th.

Since you have been so active in healthcare security, your input on the
submission would be very valuable to the submission team.  The team is
very open to evaluation that will serve to make the proposed specification
better.  They will offer a revised submission, before the final submission
to be considered for technology adoption (standard OMG process)...I could
look up the exact dates, but this will play out over the course of next
spring/summer.

Let me know if you are interested in specifics about the session, and we
can get you signed up as a guest for the meeting.
