I agree. Why don't we just use that terminology for the time being. 

The fact the ADO Client may have other special characteristics is
important and should be highlighted in the context of discussions where
these characteristics are pertinent. However, at this point in the
discussions, I think we need a way to refer to an "ADO Client"'s
"client-ness" regardless of whatever other characteristics it might
have. When the time comes to produce actual specification text, then
more discriptive words can be used if we're clever enough to think of
them.
